Luke records it this way, “You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (Lk ). Jesus told his disciples even He didn’t know exactly when He would return.
At this point in history, God the Father knew the exact number of years, months, days and seconds until Christ would return and Jesus didn’t. In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy Kingdom come ” we are invited to pray and participate in the ushering of Christ’s return.
“If God’s work today is calling out a people for His name (Acts ), then the sooner the church is completed, the sooner our Lord will return.”.
Jesus Christ is coming back to this Earth very soon. Now, Jesus Himself made it crystal clear that we cannot know the date of His return. He stated in Matthew“of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” But, the Bible makes it equally clear that those who have the Holy Spirit living in them — that is, those who believe in.

If you have done these now with a sincere and honest heart then welcome to God’s Kingdom and new faith in Christ. We should be expecting the coming Groom, ready as the Bride of Christ (the church). In short, the return of Christ brings about what is referred to as the kingdom of God in Scripture—God’s absolute rule over His creation, including humankind. To accomplish that, Jesus ushers in two different judgments, two different resurrections, and two different eternities.
When Jesus returns, He will be ready for war (Revelation Within Jesus’ description lies a prescription. The fact that he will come on an ordinary day must shape our ordinary days. They must be filled with constant expectation of Christ’s return.

By Xin jie. Two thousand years ago, the Lord Jesus promised us: “And, behold, I come quickly” (Revelation ).Now, all manner of signs of His return have appeared, and many brothers and sisters have had premonitions that the day of the Lord is near.
With regard to this issue, we should first know how the Lord will return. Many people think that because the Lord left in the clouds, He should also come with clouds when He returns, for the Bible says, “Behold, He comes with clouds” (Revelation ), and “[T]hey shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” (Matthew ).
Christ will return and He will take us to be with Him forever. "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body" (Philippians ).
Second, you come to God by faith. That means that you put your whole trust in him and say, “Lord, I believe Christ’s death for me provides everything I need to be forgiven for my sins and become accepted by you.
I trust in Jesus alone for my salvation. Please save me now and help me live for you.” You may be a good person. Are you ready for the rapture. Jesus knows His own, and He will come for them (John ; –3). The only way you will be left behind in the rapture is if you have not received Christ as your Savior.
If you are not saved, then today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians ). Do not delay another moment. Trust Christ now.
The time setting is immediately before Jesus Christ's return. "Behold, the day of the Lord is coming For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished.
